Order of the Fez

The wee cars do look like fun...

...but that's not what were' about, lads. I'm talking this way because I suffer from latent anglophilia and Keith Povall sent this photo from his flat (?) in the UK. Don't know much about the photo because Keith ripped it off from Davezilla.com.

It occurs to me there must be a factory that makes little cars for Shriners. Perhaps more than one? And where do you take one of these to get it serviced? Perhaps there's a garage staffed by little people in cute little coverall's. I haven't googled this but will.

Oh, did I mention that someone attempted to give Jamie (#7) the secret Shriner grip while we were at Gnomedex. Or so he says. I think it could have been something entirely different but Jamie had no idea how to respond, regardless of the intent.

"Cool hats"

The Order of the Fez was well represented at the just concluded Gnomedex 8.0. Shot above features #1 and #7. #4 was in attendance but fezzless so received far less attention than these two. We had hoped to connect with #8 but couldn't make connections.

If we don't see a few new members as a result of this conference, we'll be a little surprised. On younger guys, I think the fezzes would have a CTB (chick tractor beam). But at this tech conference, there was a shortage of X chromosomes. [Photos]

Fezzing the Gnomies

The Order of the Fez was well represented at last night's opening reception for Gnomedex 8.0. Numbers 7, 3 and 1 were on hand. Brothers Nelson and Mays were fezzed, Brother Brazeal was not. He feared that his fez --purchased in the Middle East-- might be an issue for the TSA. (The monkey scent would almost certainly set off the sensors)

There was much interest in the fezzes by Gnomedex attendees and several photos taken. We'll post if we find those. With 300+ geeky losers in one place, this conference is ripe for OOTF recruitment.

Zombie Monkey Fez

No idea of the story behing the Zombie Monkey Fez but it is one of the more recent creations of Fez #13 who is off at some kind of Left Coast event. If I had one of these I would wear it and nothing else.
