Fez in film

Karloff_greenstreet_2 I don't recall the fez showing up in movies much anymore. But I don't go to as many movies as I once did. We of a certain age recall the great Sydney Greenstreet in a fez. Boris Karloff (The Mummy) looked damned good in a fez.

I'm almost certain Peter Lorre got his fez on in Casablanca but I couldn't find a photo.

So we'll leave the comments open and trust that others will help us expand this list.

This photo of Sydney Greenstreet is from "Casablanca". No fez for Peter Lorre there.

my personal inspiration for wearing a fez was Groucho in A Night in Casablanca.

Peter Lorre wore a fez in "Casbah" and in "Five Weeks in a Balloon". He rocked that fez.

You can purchase your fez anywhere (or mug a Shriner) but we recommend Fez-o-rama. Order form.
